Potty Treats and Stickers

Kapri is now potty trained! Hallelujia:) I was not ready as the parent to embark on this task with a new 2 year old. But... Kapri fell into all catagories of being ready. So I waited for a long weekend, where I had no plans and no where to go. Plus daddy was off hunting. I made a potty chart, went and got stickers, potty treats, new toilet, a potty doll, training diapers, and panties! Set the timer for every 20 minutes, and gave Kapri plenty of liquids. Worked like a CHARM. No accidents after the end of week one. And now we are onto staying dry through the entire night. Then we can skip pull ups all together. 

Its so hard to see your lil one grow up.. Especially as fast as Kapri has. She hit her milestones soooo early at all stages and I feel like I want to stop the clock. She is the light of my life and can't wait to see her turn into a little girl, and not just as a toddler.  Good job on your growing up and potty training Kapri!

Proof that we did spend all of our days in the luxury of a heated pool, with pool side service and a nice hot sun! Kapri loved every minute of it and loved showing us all that she could go under and swim:)

still keeping up?

our summer was fun and jammed packed with trip back and forth! I swear, church didn't know that I was still active:) But like all the "locals" say here... We live for the summers here.. no matter that there is snow on the ground 7-8 months a year... the summers make it all worth it. But i have to add.. A lot of it is my wonderful family that i have. my Husband works his butt off to provide all the luxuries that we get to enjoy by living here. and he makes sure we are happy no matter where we are! And my lil 2 year old is the sweetest spirit there is. She is always concerned if momma is happy!

fun summer days

I did so much hair this summer. Between friends, family, and summer clients, with my current clients, I was so busy. It was nice to work from home with Kapri and not have to go somewhere to make GOOD money:) But with all the hair going on Kapri wanted to join in the fun as well. She had MANY hair cuts and trims... styles, and washes.. and she even got her very first color! I put a bright pink hair extensions on the underside of

her hair. Also in these pictures

We had so much fun in Teton Valley this summer... We loved the sun and the weather and all the event going on.. there was Music on Main every thursday night for the entire summer. We would ride our bikes or walk down and enjoy the food and music and cool mountain summer air. It really was like a lil fairy tale. There was farmers markets, relay races, pool time, golfing and SOFTBALL! Thats right, momma played summer softball and had a blast. Some crazy injuries put me out for a few tournaments, but it was sure worth it.

Kapri turned 2 in August! But this is how far behind i am... We got her a TrAMpoline for her bday and she loves it more than ANythInG:o) 

We had family come up for the day and had cake and presents. She was so excited to blow out her candles and feed her baby dolls "crinkles" sprinkles! we love her more than ever and she is the cutest 2 year old we know!
